J&K Bank opens Business Unit in Budgam, Commissions ATM at Majua Uttami in Bishnah

As part of deepening its footprint further across the UT, J&K Bank today commissioned a Business Unit (BU) at New Bus Stand Budgam and an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) at Majua Uttami in Bishnah Jammu.

Following relevant Covid19 protocols, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Budgam Shabaz Mirza inaugurated the business unit along with Zonal Head Kashmir Central –II Tabassum Nazir, Cluster Head Mohammad Azad Bhat, LDM Mian Farhat Manzoor, and Heads of business units in the vicinity amid a good gathering of valuable customers, senior citizens, prominent traders of the area and other officials of the bank.

Lauding the J&K Bank for its huge contribution to socio-economic development of the UT, DDC Budgam thanked the bank’s leadership for establishing the business unit to the newly shifted bus stand of the district.

“Bank branches like these play a foundational role in the financial empowerment of the people especially those belonging to the catchment area. I hope the establishment of this branch will address the banking and finance related needs of the local population here and those from the adjacent areas besides daily commuters”, said the DC.

Speaking on the occasion, the Zonal Head thanked the district administration headed by the Deputy Commissioner for its generous support to the bank in providing best banking and financial services to the people right near their doorsteps.

“With customer comfort as one of the top priorities of the Bank’s leadership, the branch will serve the people of the area in the best possible way while providing them best products tailored to meet their financial and banking requirements”, she said.

Meanwhile, Zonal Head Jammu (Central-1) Shareesh Sharma inaugurated an ATM at Majua Uttami in presence of Vice-President (S&C) Vibhakar Khajuria, Cluster Heads, other bank officials and elected public representatives of the area amid a gathering of prominent citizens, valuable customers and other local residents.

Reiterating the bank’s commitment to extend best banking services and financial products to the people irrespective of their location of status, the Zonal Head said that the ATM shall add to the convenience of the local residents, traders and commuters by providing them basic banking services.
