I am here in Ahmedabad to interact with you and get the instant feedback about our services, products and the functioning as a bank. For, I believe your valuable presence at such a short notice and on auspicious occasion of Holi underlines the strength of our relationship that I would like to get deeper and stronger with every passing day. And I duly acknowledge and appreciate this gesture of belongingness and concern from all of you.”

J&K Bank Chairman and MDR K Chhibber stated this while presiding over a customer meet in Ahmedabad on Monday in presence of Vice President & Zonal Head Mumbai Syed Shafat Hussain. The meeting was attended by a large gathering of bank’s most valued clients.

The Chairman wished the participants, whom he described as very loyal, on the occasionof Holi festival and thanked them for candid conversations and raising important issues, which he said, would be considered with befitting seriousness and positivity while framing the future strategy of the business.

The CMD assured the participants all the possible financial support in developing their existing and establishing new business and urged them to help the bank garner more business in Ahmadabad city. “The situation in Jammu & Kashmir is normal. It is a wonderful land of opportunities for businesses like yours and I would love to invite you for making investments there”, said the Chairman while encouraging them to freely communicate with the verticals and hierarchy of the Bank which includes office or person of the CMD itself.

Earlier, the participants praised the bank’s services and unique personal connect while reiterating their loyalty and long lasting relationship with the institution. However, the Bank is continuously focusing on improving its efficiency on “cost of funds” side and passing it on to its customers in a transparent and swift manner. Pertinently, the Bank is following RBI recommended MCLR and RLLR frameworks for pricing its loans in retail, MSE and corporate segments.
