While appreciating the role of J&K Bank in the economic development of the state, Mr. Ajay Khajuria applauded the role of the present leadership under the chairmanship of Dr. Haseeb .A. Drabu, which, according to him, has transformed the bank from a small bank to a big size bank and a leading financial institution of the country . He thanked the management of the bank for opening financial service center at Udhampur which will go a long way in benefitting the people of Udhampur by making a right choice of investment under the able guidance of the professionals of the bank. He also applauded the role of the J&K Bank in playing a proactive role in socio economic development of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, the President of the J&K Bank Mr. Parvez Ahmed highlighted the conception of the J&K Bank by the Great visionary Maharaja Hari Singh and "this FSC is the result of that vision and foresightedness, which has enabled the Bank to achieve the greater heights of progress." He further said that these finanacial centres will enable the people of the state to integrate with Capital Market of the country and avail various capital market and financial products under one roof.
The vice president Jammu (North) Mr. Abdul Rashid presented the vote of thanks and hoped that this will enrich the investment portfolio of the customers of the bank.
