Two more JK Bank financial service centres opened in Jammu.
Spearheading its campaign to reach out, listen to and empower the people of J & K State, the J & K Bank today dedicated two more Financial Services Centres at Residency Road Jammu and Patel Nagar Jammu. Deputy Chief Minister of the State, Mr. Tara Chand, inaugurated the Financial Services Centre at Residency Road, Jammu. Mr. A. K Mehta the Executive Director of the Bank inaugurated the Financial Services Centre at Patel Nagar.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister, Mr. Tara Chand expressed his thanks to the bank management for having invited him for the opening of this modern Financial Services Centre. "The way the bank has progressed speaks volumes about the vision of the top management and the sheer hard work put in by its staff day and night," said the Dy CM. He urged the management of the bank to further realign the corporate goals with a view to cover more and more unbanked segments of the state, which ultimately would give "growth for the bank, prosperity to the masses and development to our state". The Dy C M also conveyed the Dushehra greetings to the people.
Mr. A.K. Mehta, the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, while welcoming the Deputy Chief Minister said that the centre would be a financial Supermarket offering financial solutions under one roof. He further said though the bank already providing variety of financial services to its customers at its branches, the bank created separate financial service centres for the convenience of its customers. He further revealed that the bank plans to open eight more such centres in Kashmir. "Our local origin, national presence and bouquet of universal and tailor made products speak about our commitment. These Financial Service Centres will facilitate the customers for opening Demat accounts, stock trading, buying Mutual Funds, buying Insurance Policies, wealth management, owning a Credit or Debit card etc. under one roof," he said.
Mr. Parvez Ahmad, President of the Bank while presenting the vote of thanks said, "Opening up of Financial Services Centres at Jammu reflects the strong commitment of the bank in presenting international quality financial services and solutions to the people of the state." He said that the objective of opening these financial service centres is to underline the foundation for providing universal banking to the customers and enhancing the value of their investment. He further said that the Bank is better positioned in offering these services vis-à-vis the other private players in the state in view of our extensive branch network, strong brand equity and the trust and confidence of the people of the state.
He thanked the Dy. CM and Jammu Provincial President of the National Conference for gracing the occasion, which reflects the strong commitment of the state government in supporting the initiatives aimed at improving the business and investment climate of the state. The inauguration function was attended by the prominent citizens and valuable customers of the bank and Mr. B L Dogra, Director of the bank was also present on the occasion.
Mr Madan Gupta, Vice President and Zonal Head of the bank thanked the audience. He said, "Quality customer service is the basic mantra for attaining customer delight and through these services we intend to give our customers a delightful experience".
The bank is going to open its one more ATM and a Financial Service Centre at Udhampur tomorrow and a Financial Service Centre at Kathua on 30.09.2009
