Srinagar Airforce station gets JK Bank facilitation counter
J&K Bank opened its first facilitation counter at Airforce Station, Srinagar. Dr Haseeb A Drabu, Chairman and Chief Executive, J&K Bank inaugurated the counter at a simple but impressive function held at the Station. Air Cmdr, Romesh Goyal (VSM), Air Officer Commanding Airforce station Srinagar, was chief guest on the occasion. Meanwhile Mrs. Romesh Goyal, inaugurated ATM at the station.
Dr. Haseeb A. Drabu, Chairman and Chief Executive, while talking to media said, "It is our endeavour to provide all banking facilities to our customers irrespective of their location. We have been tailoring products and blending our services to suit every segment of our society. It is not only providing world class services to our customers, we take utmost care while designing the interiors of our branch premises for the comfort of our esteemed customers." Dr Drabu gave on the spot instructions to provide NEFT facility to the employees of the airforce station.
While showing his pleasure over opening a facilitation center at Air Force station, Chief Guest, Air Cmdr, Romesh Goyal(VSM), Air Officer Commanding Airforce station Srinagar said, "We are very happy that J&K Bank has opened this facilitation center at this station. There was a great need of it. And I am sure that this facilitation centre will not only suffice the needs of airforce employees posted at this station but also to the nearby army and BSF personnel". He also appreciated the architecture and ambiance of newly opened facilitation center.
Mr. A. K. Mehta, Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer of the bank while speaking on the occasion said, "This facilitation counter is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to provide all financial services under one roof. This fully computerised facilitation counter shall be suiting the needs of the employees posted at the airforce station. Our services like E- banking services, Demat services and ATM facility shall be delighting our customers at the station." J&K Bank President and Zonal Head (Central Kashmir) Parvez Ahmed, who was also present on the occasion said, "This facilitation counter opened today is a step towards building relationship with airforce in Srinagar. With the kindof reach, infrastructure and product range in the J&K State, the Bank is fully equipped to serve them better in the State."
Meanwhile, a number of high officials of the Bank and Airforce station, including Mr Khursheed A Pandit, Vice President of Bank and Group Captain BK Choudhary of the airforce were present on the occasion.
