Committed to provide convenience to its customers, J&K Bank dedicated an ATM to the public at Seelu, Sopore. This is the fifth such facility in the apple town of Sopore.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ab. Hamid Banday, Bank's Vice President & Head North Zone, stated that efforts are afoot to bring in technology revolution in functioning of the bank in the area. "It is the result of these strategic and concerted efforts that today we are opening 23rd ATM in the zone and 5th in Sopore area", he said.
"Within a short span of time the Bank is contemplating installation of more ATMs in adjoining areas of Sopore", Banday informed the gathering, adding that bank has already put all the major branches of the area on Core Banking Solution laced with hi-tech services like RTGS/NEFT/e-banking and for greater customer convenience efforts are on to put all the branches of the area on CBS network.
Banday also highlighted various schemes of the bank and urged upon all to make full use of these opportunities in order to bolster the economic activities of the area.
The ceremony culminated with the vote of thanks presented by Mr. Riaz Ahmad Mir, Cluster Head for district Bandipora & Tehsil sopore branches.
