RSETI starts entrepreneurship programme in Kupwara
J&K Bank inaugurated Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) and commenced first training programme about ‘Entrepreneurship Development' in District Kupwara.
District Development Commissioner Kupwara Mohammad Shafi Rather inaugurated the institute in presence of Project Officer DRDA Gulzar Ahmad, J&K Bank Cluster Head (Kupwara) Mohammad Younis Pattoo and Director Institute Mohammad Afzal Shah.
Speaking on the occasion, DDC thanked the Bank for the initiative of establishing such institute in the border district and urged the top management for taking necessary measures to enable early completion of the RSETI building on the land allotted by the district administration.
He advised functionaries of the institute to come up to the expectations of the people and help eradicating unemployment through the creation of young entrepreneurs.
J&K Bank Vice-President Kashmir (North) G. Q. Shah informed the guests and trainees that the Bank was on its mission of nurturing and nourishing culture of entrepreneurship in the state through these institutes so that the issue of unemployment is tackled seriously.
Earlier, Director institute gave a detailed presentation about the aims and objectives of the institute that he said was primarily for creation of entrepreneurs and generating self-employment.
