Mini Secretariat Ganderbal gets JK Bank ATM, Pay counter
Responding quickly to the banking needs of the newly constructed Mini-Secretariat at Ganderbal. J&K Bank today installed an ATM and a pay counter for the convenience of government employees posted in the Secretariat complex and general public of the district. The service terminals were jointly inaugurated by Dilshad Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal and Abdul Hamid Banday, Bank's Vice-President and Zonal Head for Central Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion Dilshad Khan appreciated the Bank's gesture to come with its services ‘so quickly'. "Almost entire district administration is now functioning from this mini-secretariat and the presence of state of the art, technology driven banking services would definitely serve large section of society in addition to all government offices housed in the secretariat" she said.
Abdul Hamid Banday in his address stated that wholehearted efforts are afoot to provide hassle free services to the people. "It is the result of these efforts that we are today opening 331st ATM along with service counter at this place", he said.
Maintaining that progress of the Bank is due to active and untiring cooperation of the people of the state, Banday assured people of J&K Bank's commitment to serve them with utmost zest, highly customized products and international standard services.
Stating that technology driven services have brought much needed comfort to the people, Banday stressed that the recently introduced Instant Debit Card delivery system was enabling the customers to use debit cards instantly with the opening of account.
Zonal Head revealed that Bank is shortly going to open many more ATMS in the Zone with the sole aim to improve customer convenience. "Bank is formulating its products and service delivery mechanisms as per the requirement and convenience of people", he said, adding, this process would continue with firm determination.
The function was also attended by Mohammed Amin Khan, Bank's Cluster Head and Gulzar Ahmed, head, business unit, Ganderbal.
