Lok Adalat settles 31 cases pertaining to JK Bank borrowers
A mega Lok Adalat held at District Court Complex, Shopian on 26th and 27th October, 2009 settled 56 cases including 31 pertaining to defaulting borrowers of the J&K Bank.
The mega Lok Adalat was held under the Chairmanship of Syed Tawqeer Ahmed, Principal District and Session's Judge, Shopian and Chairman legal services authority. Settlement to the tune of Rs.41.16 lacs involving Bank's borrowers was made on the spot in presence of senior officers of the Bank.
The speedy disposal of cases was hailed by public in general and J&K Bank customers in particular
