Langate gets J&K Bank ATM : J&K Bank launches world class technology services in remotest areas
Expansion of ATM network into far-flung areas from the city center is part of J&K Bank's policy to create state-of-the-art but inclusive services' infra-structure for banking and financial operations. The bank wants that people of all the regions and places of the state must avail equally the benefits of convenience and comfort that technology has brought about in the sphere of banking services.
This was stated by Vice President and Zonal Head (North) J&K Bank Nazir Ahmad Parimoo while addressing a gathering of valuable customers, senior citizens and local residents of Langate, Handwara after inaugurating an ATM there Saturday. ATM was a long pending demand of the people there. The number of ATMs in north Kashmir has gone up to 32.
He further stated that it has been endeavor of the Bank to provide its clients all tools of convenient banking like Core Banking solution, Anywhere Banking, RTGS, ATM services, etc. even to the remotest areas of the state. "It is a moment of delight today that a customer of Langate is enjoying the global standard banking services and is at par with any other customer of the country," he said.
He gave a detailed account of various Schemes that the Bank has tailored according to the specific needs of different segments of economy people of the state are engaged in. While explaining the features of the recently revised Apple Advance Scheme, he urged the growers of the area to avail benefits of the scheme.
He invited fresh viable proposals for financial support from the unemployed youth of the area under newly adopted Seed Capital Fund Scheme devised by the state government under SKEWPY.
The Zonal Head also emphasized about the recovery process in the loans and advances as an element of fearless lending for the overall social and economical upliftment of the people.
Locals hailed the efforts of the Bank to provide world class banking services to these areas. A big congregation represented by the MLA of the area Mr. Engineer Ab. Rashid while talking to the Vice President put forth their demands including deployment of more staff to mitigate the staff scarcity of the B/U, conduction of awareness camp in the area and the simplification of procedures of advance schemes.
