J&K Bank's KCCs camp at Chenani, Udhampur
J&K Bank organized a Kissan Credit Card (KCC) camp for farming community at Chenani (Udhampur). The camp was inaugurated by the vice President & Zonal Head, Jammu (North) Zone-Doda, M.I.Wani.
The zonal head while speaking on the occasion said that the J&K Bank is always on forefront of providing banking facilities to the agriculture sector in J & K state. He highlighted the advantages of Kissan Cash Credit (KCC) and requested to make full use of the scheme.
Notably, the bank has distributed 9300 KCCs amounting to Rs. 5.55 Crores in the district-Udhampur so far.
Ealier Iqbal Singh, Cluster Head-Udhampur/Ramban, welcomed the beneficiaries of the Kissan Cash Credit (KCC) scheme and also highlighted the benefits of Kissan Cash Credit & the other initiatives taken by J & K Bank.
He informed the gathering that so far 498 Kissan Credit Cards has been sanctioned by BU-Chenani, 742 by BU-SudhMahadev & 933 Kissan Credit Cards by BU-Latti. He informed the gathering that this is the 3rd KCC Camp organized by J &k Bank in Udhampur District during the current financial year.
The bank distributed 162 Kissan Credit Cards on-spot amongst the farmers which includes 84 of BU-Chenani, 60 of BU-SudhMahadev & 18 of BU-Latti.
The camp was attended by farmers, sarpanch & Panchs of the nearby Villages, staff of the bank which include Chander H Sharma from Cluster Office-Udhampur & Branch Head(s) of Chenani Unit Naresh Chander, SudhMahdev Unit Verinder Kumar & Latti Unit Mohit Kumar.
