JK Bank's ATM at Karan Bagh inaugurated.
J&K Bank is pioneer in bringing technology driven banking services to the doorsteps of the people of the state. This was stated by the Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation minister, Raman Bhalla while inaugurating J & K Bank's ATM at Karan Bagh here today. He praised the management of the bank headed by renowned economist Dr. Haseeb A Drabu for playing a tremendous role exploring unexplored economies of the state. Various initiatives taken by the bank for rural upliftment and poverty elevation of the rural masses through financial inclusion, village adoption scheme, Khidmat centers, Smart Cards and implementation of various central /state sponsored self employment schemes are highly commendable, said the minister.
He congratulated the Bank for providing ATM facility at doorstep to the people at Karan Bagh. He also urged the masses to take maximum benefit of the services and various schemes initiated by the bank.
Vice president, Jammu (Central), Madan Gupta, while welcoming Raman Balla, the chief guest on the occasion, spoke about the initiatives taken by the bank to provide world class banking services to the people here. "Our mission is to provide all possible banking services thorugh fastest mode even to the poorest of the poor ," said Madan Gupta. He talked about various benefits of JK Bank Global Access Debit Card and also gave a brief about the bank's schemes – deposit as well as loan schemes.
Notably, a simple but impressive function was organised on the occasion in which Madan Gupta, Vice President Jammu Central, Sunil Gupta, Business Cluster Head-II, various government officials and a large number of bank clients were present.
