Starting off its awareness cum exhibition campaign in North Kashmir, J&K Bank Cluster-II organised extraordinary camps in Bandipora and Sopore during the last week to apprise people about the bank's products and service offerings. The campaign aims at making people aware about banking, its potential as facilitator for peoples' empowerment, customised products designed by the J&K Bank for specific target groups and various services offered by the Bank. "The idea is to reach out to people at their doorsteps to uphold the spirit of our slogan ‘Serving to Empower' ", Zonal Head said while addressing a well attended gathering at Fruit Mandi, Sopore.
The camps also witnessed people raising important queries and issues related to their socio-economic backwardness. Acting promptly, the Bank officials provided on-the-spot financial solutions to address the issues. People were made aware about the tailor-made products that suited their specific but comprehensive needs.
Another such camp was organised by branch unit Naidkhai wherein around 55 product variants were put on display for the people. The people visiting the camps were upbeat about Bank's approach to make them understand its products in the interpersonal communication format.
