In Kashmir, he said, the skill-sets used in different sectors of economy were primarily inherited from elders of family and were not abreast with the latest trends in production due to which losses were incurred.
He lauded the efforts of DRDA in providing all logical support to J & K Bank in managing this maiden training programme besides taking lead amongst all other departments in the district for sponsoring the trainees from various corners of the district.
Some of the trainees have really developed the vision through this training, he said.
Some trainees impressed the audience while deliberating upon their future plans which they had designed with clear vision and mission for establishing their own enterprises that would provide employment not only them but to a good number of people.
The DDC asked banks and line departments to extend whole hearted support to these entrepreneurs so that their dreams are realized.

He urged people to come forward with evident grievances if any in this regard.
He also appreciated the enthusiasm shown by Mohd Akbar, Project officer DRDA.
Project officer of DRDA said that every unemployed individual of the district whether educated or not, skilled or not, technical or not and professional or not will be invited for training and every trainee would leave as a successful entrepreneur with a vision that he has to become employer instead of employee.
