J&K Bank RSETI Kupwara concludes training programme
J&K Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Kupwara concluded its 4th Skill Development Training Programme on Knitting. Attended by 30 trainees belonging to three Self Help Groups of different blocks of the district, the 10-day training programme to the members from BPL was sponsored by DRDA, Kupwara.
Chief Accounts Officer (CAO) DRDA Kupwara Mohammad Afzal Mir, along with Director RSETI Mohammad Afzal Shah distributed ‘Certificates of Participation' among the trainees.
Speaking on the occasion CAO impressed upon the outgoing trainees to utilize all the knowledge that was imparted to them during the training course while establishing their own future ventures.
He said, "This will surely make your ventures profitable. You should be able to provide employment to others besides supplementing the income of your families."
Director of the institute informed the audience that trainings undertaken in the Institute were tailored to suit the needs of trainees and to polish their skills.
These trainings, he said, would help them to build their self-confidence so that they earn their livelihood with dignity.
During the programme, the trainees were facilitated interactions with educationists, bankers, and successful entrepreneurs. A health camp was also organised during the 10-day programme.
The function concluded with a vote of thanks by the director.
