JK Bank RSETI Bandipore inaugurated. <i>Participants assured zero-problem in financing</i>
J&K Bank today inaugurated one more Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) in Bandipore that will provide trainings to young and budding entrepreneurs. The institute commenced a 6-day training programme for its first batch under the title ‘Entrepreneurship Development' in collaboration with DRDA.
Additional DDC G M Grekbu inaugurated the institute in presence of Project Officer DRDA Naseer Ahmad, J&K Bank Vice Presidents Rouf Ahmad Bhat and Nazir Ahmad Parimoo.
At the outset, Director RSETI Mir Fayaz welcomed the guests and participants to the inaugural ceremony of the institute.
Briefly stating the objectives of the institute, he said, "Self-employment is the key for self-sufficiency and self-confidence in today's world. And the objective of this institute is to handhold the young and budding entrepreneurs till they successfully establish their own viable business units."
Expressing his heartfelt joy for J&K Bank being the administrative resource for RSETI's in the state, Addl. DDC said, "J&K Bank has all along been exemplary while serving the people of J&K that too in the farthest of its parts. So the objective of these institutes to produce and develop market-oriented entrepreneurs will be realized under their able and proven guidance."
He however added that we need to be dedicated and honest as these were two most important components of institution building in social sense.
Speaking on the occasion Project Officer DRDA thanked Director of Institute Fayaz Ahmad for putting in a lot of effort to make such an important beginning.
He said, "I congratulate J&K Bank and especially its director for their seriousness of purpose. It is a small beginning with great expectations that this institute will transform the lives of many through its skill enhancement and entrepreneurship development programmes."
The basic aim of these institutes is to make young people aware of the benefits of all schemes meant for self-employment.
Vice President (Govt. Business and priority sector) Rouf Ahmad assured the participants that Corporate Office would lend every possible support to make the effort successful.
He said, "The effort is basically part of a larger idea of self-sufficiency and self-reliance so that economically vulnerable sections of society don't get exploited."
Earlier Zonal Head Nazir Ahmad Parimoo urged the young trainees to avail the benefits of training along with the schemes devised by the bank for their better future and fortunes.
He assured them of zero-problem in financing and asked them to behave responsibly.
