J&K Bank Ramnawmi gift, Dedicates Five ATMs, four Financial Services Centres to Jammuites
J&K Bank, the premier institution of the state while up holding its commitment to provide hi-tech banking services to the people of state has dedicated nine service outlets to the people of Jammu on the auspicious day of Ramnavmi. These service outlets comprise of five ATMs and four Financial Services Centres.
The celebrations Ramnavmi started with the inauguration of ATM at Railway station, Jammu by the Divisional Traffic Manager, Northern Railway Jammu, Mr. Ashok Sharma. Mr. Raman Bhalla, Minister for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, inaugurated the ATM hub at The Gole Market, Gandhi Nagar, followed by one more ATM at Womens College. Speaking on the occasion,Mr. A. K. Mehta, Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer of the bank, congratulated the people of state with the Ramnavmi greetings and informed them that the bank has the plan of installing some 100 ATMs including 14 ATM Hubs during the present financial year. He said that the bank has, under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Haseeb Drabu, crossed the 55000 crores turnover in business with the highest ever net profit of Rs. 409 crore and the bank is rated as one of the most respectable banks in the country .He informed the gathering that the bank has an ambitious plan of crossing one lac croe business turnover by 2012.
Mr. Madan Gupta, Vice President, Jammu Central Zone said that the bank has commitment with the masses to provide them the convenience of best technology, best products and the best delivery channels. He also assured the gathering that the bank would continue coming out with value added products and customer centric solutions Mr. Bhalla highly appreciated the role of J & K Bank Management in empowering the people of the state by providing the banking facilities at their doorsteps, especially to the senior citizens. He requested the bank management to undertake such schemes and projects, which generate employment and bring prosperity to the people of the state. Earlier,Mr. Ashok Sharma recalled his long association with the bank and wished a prosperous and a great future for the bank. He promised space for opening of an extension counter of the bank at the Railway Station so that the public at large can make use of the bank's excellent service . Then Mr. A. K. Mehta, ED & COO inaugurated the last ATM of the day at Shastri Nagar. He thanked the people for their wholehearted support and patronage and assured them that the bank would continue improving its service standards and product designing so that the client gets the best deal. He said that the Bank's service would be a differentiating factor from that of its competitors and all branches of the bank would be computerized by the end of March 2010. The Financial Service Centres equipped with state of art technology shall be opened tomorrow at Residency Road Jammu, Patel Nagar, Jammu Udhampur and Kathua. These FSCs would be the financial supermarkets providing all financial services like share trading portals, insurance products, mutual funds and credit and smart cards under a single roof.
