JK Bank organizes customer meets in South Kashmir
Aiming to come more closer to its customers and receive firsthand feedback of its products and services, Jammu and Kashmir Bank organized a series of customer meets at various branches in South Kashmir last week. The meetings, held in Sallar, Sagam, Srigufwara, Shangus, Ratnipora, Pahalgam and Nanilnag, were presided over by Mohammed Hussain Gatoo, Cluster Head. Besides, branch heads of the concerned branches and customers from across the economic spectrum attended the meetings.
Thanking Chairman Dr Haseeb A Drabu for announcing relief and rehabilitation packages on different occasions especially during the recent economic downturn, customers expressed their confidence in the bank saying "it is the only financial institution of the state that remains committed to the peoples' empowerment irrespective of their socio-economic status".
While hailing the services rendered by the Bank, customers stressed on the need of making banking more easy and accessible for the people in rural areas. They put forth various demands and suggestions before the Bank including installation of more ATMs in the cluster region, IT up gradation and conversion of manual branches into fully computerized ones.
The Custer Head assured the customers of Bank's unflinching cooperation and support to make their lives better. "The purpose of these meets is to get your perception of and expectation from the Bank. Those of your grievances which we can attend to here will be addressed on-the-spot but the demands which need management's approval would be taken up with the concerned for their consideration", Gatoo stated.
