J&K Bank organizes awareness camps in Ganderbal district
With the objective to inform people about the benefits of Financial Inclusion J&K Bank conducted a series of awareness camps across Ganderbal district. Hundreds of enthusiastic people eager to get connected to the banking system attended camps in Urpash, Sendbal, Tullumulla, Shalbugh, Takenwari, Chunt Waliwar, Peerpura, Repora, Dursuma, Anderwan, Gund, Barsoo, Chattergul and Safapora.
J&K Bank Cluster-III (Ganderbal) organised the events that were attended by large number of people. Business Unit Heads of Nunnar, Peerpura, Tullumulla, Chanduna, Laar, Manigam, Gund, Barsoo, Chattergul and Safapora were also present at various camps.
During the course of these events Marketing Team of the Bank gave a detailed presentation about the various deposit schemes and loan products to participants. Fresh cash was also exchanged among the masses at certain camps.
A number of accounts were opened on spot. The people demanded that the Bank should regularly organize such camps at regular intervals.
The Cluster Head, Cluster-III, Mohammad Amin Khan said that such awareness camps will be conducted at regular intervals especially in the far flung villages in order to implement the Financial Inclusion Plan in totality wherein all the financial services will be provided to under banked and unbanked segment of population.
