J&K Bank organizes awareness camp
In its endeavour to bring inaccessible and remote areas under banking fold, J&K Bank organized an awareness camp at village Awgam in district Kulgam.
Organized by district cluster office, the camp was attended by people from different walks of life including those living below poverty line. Various products and services of the Bank relevant to the participants were highlighted. The distinct feature of the camp was financial consultation wherein participants were made aware of the benefits of banking and the financial solutions it offers.
The participants lauded the efforts made by the Jammu And Kashmir Bank in helping the common masses to establish income generating units like poultry, dairy and sheep rearing and other allied units.
Participants were assured that the Bank would extend all possible financial assistance to the people interested in establishing self employment ventures and other small scale enterprises relevant to the village industries.
