In order to make people aware about its product and service offerings, J&K Bank organized an awareness camp at Ganieshpora, Aishmuqam in Anantnag.
Though people were made aware about the specifically designed products that suited their requirements but the thrust was on employement generating schemes of the bank and the schemes of the government for which bank acts as a nodal agency.
Apart from a large number of common people, those who attended the gathering included representatives of DRDA, DIC and District Employment Exchange. These officials delivered lectures targeted at youth, their unemployment and opportunities and avenues available.
Mohammed Hussain Gatoo, Cluster head J&K Bank presided over the function. In his address he urged the people to come forward and avail financial solutions offered by the bank. "Our financial solutions can change your fortunes provided you have a will to do something", Gatoo stated.
Earlier M A Ganie, branch head, Aishmuqam welcomed the participants on behalf of the Bank.
