J&K Bank opened Business Unit at Nimoo, Leh-Ladakh on Feb 17.
Sonam Dorjay, Executive Councilor (Agriculture) LAHDC Leh inaugurated the Business Unit amid a small gathering of valuable customers and local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, the Executive Councilor thanked the management of the bank for fulfilling the long cherished demand of locals by opening a Business Unit in the rural part of Ladakh.
He expressed hope that the Business Unit shall act as active agent of change that would empower the people of Nimoo economically to a great extent.
Incharge Business Head, Ladakh Zone, Chetan Paljore, thanked the Executive Councilor for sparing his valuable time for the occasion.
He also gave a detailed description of the various products of the bank that have been tailored according to specific needs of people of different regions and expressed hope that the Bank through the opening of this business unit will be able to serve the people of Nimoo better and in a broader way.
This is the 19th Business Unit in Ladakh Zone and 13th in District Leh.
