J&K Bank while leveraging technology has introduced Instant ATM Card for its customers. The customers will get Global Access ATM Card instantly on opening an account at any branch of the bank.
This was stated by the J&K Bank President, Abdul Rashid while inaugurating the Bank's 327th ATM here today at Sonwar Srinagar near the shrine of Syeed Sahib (R.A) amid a respectable gathering of valuable customers, local businessmen, senior citizens and local residents. The Zonal Head, Kashmir (Central) of the Bank was also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, he said, "J&K Bank consistently leverages technology to make banking services and other facilities affordable, accessible, easy and efficient for the common man of this state. So the Bank's ATM policy is strictly guided by customer convenience and cost effectiveness."
He said that J&K Bank is the only corporate in the J&K state which has always played a pivotal role in the economic upliftment of people of the state. "The progress of the bank is directly related to the active and untiring cooperation of the people. It has been endeavor of the Bank to serve its people with utmost zest coupled with scores of tailor made schemes both in deposit and loan segments," he said.
Earlier, the Zonal Head, Kashmir (Central) of the bank, Abdul Hamid Banday in his address said that the bank is shortly going to open many more ATMS in the Zone with the sole aim to ensure customer convenience. "Bank is frontrunner in formulating its functions as per the desire of people and this process will continue with firm determination," he said.
People of Sonwar hailed the Bank's decision to install the machine in their area. With the installation of ATM, we can have round-the-clock access to our money for which we are grateful to J&K Bank, said Adil Ahmad, a local resident.
