J&K Bank HSHS organizes customer meet
In a bid to further strengthen relationship with its customers, a simple but impressive customer meet was organized by the Bank's Hari Singh High Street branch here at a local hotel on Tuesday. The meeting, held in a professional business spirit, was attended by scores of customers including the office bearers and members of the association of local traders. "Our association with J&K Bank dates back to decades and over these years the mutual relationship has moved beyond business and profession. Loads of trust with an emotional undercurrent is at the root of it", said Mr Mohammed Shafi, President Hari Singh High Street Traders Association. The meeting discussed certain suggestions and complaints in an extremely cordial atmosphere. Various banking facilities and possible relaxations to the traders were also discussed threadbare. "We had some suggestions and complaints but due to the face to face interaction everything was sorted out", Mohammed Saeed Banday, Vice-President of the HSHS Traders association said. Interestingly, most of the complaints were found to be either baseless or based on lack of information. Mr Mohammed Amin Khan, who is heading the HSHS branch of the Bank, sought cooperation of the office bearers of the HSHS Traders Association in recovering Bank's bad assets. "The relationship between the Bank and traders community has to be a two-way process. We have been and would continue to extend all possible support. We are bound to provide best possible facilities but we also expect some forward movement from the traders in our endeavor to make business an easy thing to do with no discount on returns," Mr Khan said. Speaking on the occasion Mr Abdul Rehman Lone, Chairman of the HSHS Traders Association said, "The Bank has always been there to give fillip to the trade. Reconstruction of assets and flexible settlement of bad advances is impressive. Today's meeting has further strengthened bonds between the local traders and the Bank".Among others who attended the meet were representatives from Zonal Office, Kashmir Central and Corporate Headquarters.
