J&K Bank HSHS branch organises interactive session with traders' bodies
J&K Bank Business Unit Hari Singh Hari Street organized an interactive session with newly elected traders bodies on April18, 2009.The meeting was attended by office bearers of HSHS Traders Association, All Kashmir Gold Dealers and Workers Association, Sarai Balla Traders Association, Sadar Bazaar Traders Associations, Gonikhan Traders Association, Maharaja Bazaar Traders Association.
Branch Head Mohammad Amin Khan congratulated the newly elected traders bodies. While speaking on the occasion, he said, "The bank is always at the forefront for extending help to the traders. Though it's an interactive session, but we will highly appreciate if you guide us to serve you even better."
The traders' bodies hailed the high quality of banking services provided by the bank to the people in general and the traders community in particular. "This is matter of great satisfaction and pride for all traders men that we are privileged with quality banking services of J&K Bank. We highly appreciate efforts of Branch head and its staff for extending full support to the business fraternity even in the bad times," said Bashir Ahmed Rather, President All Kashmir Gold Dealers and workers Association.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman of the HSHS Traders Association, M Sayeed Banday, said, "The Bank has always been there to give fillip to the trade. Today's meeting has further strengthened bonds between the local traders and the Bank".
In the meeting, suggestions and grievances of some customers were discussed. Various banking facilities and possible relaxations to the traders were also discussed threadbare. Branch head has assured them that all their genuine demands will be taken care of and they will be taken up with higher authorities.
The meeting was attended by scores of customers including the newly elected office bearers and members of the association of local traders.
