JK Bank holds customer advisory meets
Carrying on with its initiative to meet customers to listen to their suggestions, demands and grievances, J&K Bank organized two customer advisory meets at its Nallamar Road and Sherabad branches.
Presided over by M A Chilloo, Cluster Head, an impressive interactive session with customers was held at the Bank's Nallamar Road branch here at Bohri Kadal today.
Stressing that the objective behind organizing such meets was to receive feedback from the customers, Chilloo said, "We don't want you to only listen to us, but we want a two way communication. We want you to speak out, suggest or even put forth your grievances to help us understand your requirements better which will in turn help us come up to your expectorations with enhanced levels of customer gratifications".
Putting forth their suggestions, traders urged the Bank to consider slashing of commission on realization of anywhere cheques.
Appreciating the people friendly attitude of the Bank, traders demanded that Bank should take up construction of a park in the downtown area. Besides, they requested opening of a ladies counter in the area. Demands like installation of more ATMs, more model branches on the pattern of Nallamar Road business unit in the downtown and providing SMS services to customers also came up during the meeting.
Assuring the customers that he would take up their suggestions and demands with the higher authorities, Mr Chilloo said, "Most of your suggestions are valid and demands genuine. I pledge maximum possible cooperation from the Bank's side and assure you that your demands would be taken up with the higher authorities. We are planning to install more ATMs and more model branches in this historically important business hub of the state."
Addressing another such customer meets at Sherabad, Pattan on 16th of October, Cluster Head Ghulam Rasool Hajam urged upon the customers to take full advantage of the Bank's revised Dastkar Finance and Handicrafts Sustenance package, designed and customized to tackle the massive jolt on Handicrafts related trade due to the recent turmoil. The meeting saw customers putting forth their suggestions in a cordial atmosphere. Queries about various advances and deposits schemes were responded to on the spot.
In response to the demand of providing anywhere facility at the branch, Hajam informed the gathering that the branch would soon be put on finnacle. "Sherabad would soon come on the finnacle map of the Bank. So the anywhere facility is just an announcement away," he said.
