J&K Bank holds Customer Advisory Meet at Ganderbal
Committed to serve its customers more effectively and to get a real feedback of its services, J&K Bank business Unit Ganderbal organized a customer Advisory Meet on Thursday. The meeting, attended by 35 customer advisory committee members, was presided over by the Cluster Head Mohammad Amin Khan. Vice-President and Zonal Head, Kashmir (Central), Fazl-e-Mehboob Gani was chief guest on the occasion.
The committee members appreciated the Bank for taking various customer-friendly initiatives. The hailed initiatives, among other endeavors, include installation of two ATM's within half a kilometer distance in the district headquarter, providing a suitable car-parking facility for the visiting customers, financial adaptation of twelve underprivileged villages in a model way and launching of distinctive Mobile banking services in the area.
The Committee, however, urged the need to enhance the financial powers vested with the branch to minimize delay in credit dispensation. Besides, demand for installation of a coin dispenser in the branch was also put forth to the Vice-President, Mr. Gani.
Expressing gratitude to the customers for their support and cooperation, Fazl-e-Mehboob Gani assured them of world class services with special focus on customer satisfaction. "With a loyal customer base on our side, we can change the fortunes of this district", he maintained.
During his interaction with the customer advisory forum, Cluster Head Mohammed Amin Khan said that J&K Bank is always committed to earn the trust of its valuable customers. "J&K Bank owes its success to the unflinching loyalty of its customers and the tremendous emotional equity that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have made in this institution over the years", he stressed. Stressing on the need to have such interactions on regular basis, Khan said that such sessions guide the Bank in identifying the thrust areas and comprehending the customer expectations. Before presenting vote of thanks, Gulzar Ahmad, branch head Ganderbal highlighted the performance of the branch during last couple of years.
