<i>JK Bank expands ATM network </i>Three more machines inaugurated in Srinagar, Udhampur
J&K Bank dedicated three more Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) to the public today at Khankhah Moulla, S.R. Gunj (Srinagar) and Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA), Udhampur, Jammu.
Director, SKPA, Ashok K.Gupta (IGP) inaugurated the ATM at SKPA, Udhampur. While as the machines at Khankhah Moulla and S. R. Gunj were inaugurated by Abdul Hamid Banday, Bank's Zonal Head Kashmir (Central).
Director Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy, Ashok K. Gupta (IGP), while speaking on the occasion thanked Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman & CEO, J&K Bank, for installing the ATM at the Academy within short span of time and termed it as a dream come true. "ATM was urgently required in the Academy and it will benefit not only staff of the academy but also more than 1000 trainees shall be benefited," he said. He advised the gathering present on the occasion to make use of ATM and avail the benefits of banking at their doorsteps.
While welcoming the Director, SKPA, who was chief guest on the occasion, the Vice President V.C. Sharma informed the gathering that J&K Bank in pursuit of its objective to provide technology driven doorstep banking services to its customers & public in general is strengthening its network of ATM's throughout the J&K state and opening of ATM at SKPA is a part of that objective. Cluster Head – Udhampur, G.M.Sadiq presented vote of thanks.
Ab. Hamid Banday, Zonal Head, Kashmir (Central) while speaking on the inaugural function of the ATMs at Srinagar stated: "We are firmly committed to ensure that our customers get world class banking services at their door steps. We constantly strive hard for bringing in revolutionary changes in delivery channels for customer convenience."
He further stated that a wide range of customized products coupled with extensive technology support is aimed to achieve customers' delight and prosperity. He expressed gratitude to the people for showing such a great degree of confidence in the bank and ‘this customer support has played pivotal role in the uninterrupted progress of the bank'. The Zonal Head made special mention of some loan schemes having trade specific touch and urged people to take full advantage of these schemes in order to redraw their fortunes. He exuded confidence that these relations would strengthen further to usher into an era of prosperity for all.
SR Gunj Beopar Mandal President, Haji Assadullah Mir while speaking on the occasion thanked the bank's management and the Zonal Head for installing ATM in the vicinity, which will ease lot of problems for all especially the trading community.
