J&K Bank today organized a Customer Meet at newly opened Business Unit (B/U) at S K Bridge Poonch. It is the 2nd Business unit in Poonch Town.
J&K Bank Vice-president &Zonal Head Jammu (West) R K Chhibber presided over the meeting, which was attended by a large number of valuable customers, senior citizens, traders etc. Cluster Head GhulamJeelani Shah and B/U Head GhulamJeelani were also present.
Interacting with the participants on the occasion, Zonal Head briefed them about various products of the bank besides talking about the initiatives taken to leverage the technology for prompt and efficient service delivery mechanism right at the door step of people.
He informed the meeting that more new Business Units would be opened shortly.
Zonal Head asked the educated youth to avail the benefits of various employment generating programs particularly Sheri Kashmir Employment and Welfare Program for Youth (SKEWPY). He also appealed to the members of agriculture community to avail the benefits of various loan schemes tailored for them which include KCC, Assankissan loan etc.
Suggestions from public were warmly received by the Zonal Head. The participants thanked the bank authorities for opening 2nd Business unit in Poonch town and assured their support and co-operation in making the B/U a successful outlet for the Bank.
They also thanked the Bank for generating employment opportunities for the people of J&K state through recent recruitment drives wherein more than 1500 young educated youth were employed in the Bank.
Earlier, B/U Head requested them to avail the banking facilities provided by the bank and make the initiative of the bank a success.
