J&K Bank is the only financial institution of the state that has shown consistent growth and extensive expansion all along its history, spanned over 74 years, leading to individual empowerment and societal development. Our balance sheet is growing stronger and becoming more robust with every passing year. Brand J&K Bank has become an important player in the Indian banking industry.
This was stated by Bashir Ahmad Lone, Bank's President & Zonal Head for Kashmir Central after dedicating two new business units to the people at Chattabal and Mehjoor Nagar areas here today. With this, the total network of bank's business units has moved up to 611.
Describing J&K Bank as a mass bank of J&K state, Lone assured the audience of world class banking services. "Being a peoples' bank that caters to the banking needs of all the segments of society, from poorest of the poor to the richest of the rich, I request you to judge us on the yardstick of our role in uplifting state's economy, individual financial empowerment and Corporate Social Responsibility". He added, "However, further improvement in services to ensure enhanced levels of customer satisfaction shall continue to be our priority".
Stating that Chairman & CEO, Mushtaq Ahmad was keen to expand Bank's network to remotest areas of the state, Lone said, "Chairman's commitment to open 100 more branches in the current fiscal to take latest technology driven banking services to the doorsteps of people is being seriously pursued and executed".
Crediting people of J&K for the excellent performance of the Bank over the last seven decades, Lone said, "It is your support and patronage that has made it possible for J&K Bank to make a mark in the banking industry. We expect same spirit of patronage and support from you in future as well".
