J&K Bank, BAGICL tie-up for speedy insurance claim disposal
In a bid to defeat the apprehensions of people regarding settlement of insurance claims, J&K Bank in association with the Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Co. Ltd.(BAGICL), the company with which J&K Bank has a tie-up for non-life insurance, conducted a seminar at Gulmarg Club on Sunday.
Officers from forty branches of J&K Bank's central Zone attended the meet organized to learn about various aspects of insurance like claims servicing, policy issuance and premium rates. Speaking on the occasion Mr M.A Khan, Cluster Head J&K Bank said that the services of Bajaj Allianz have improved manifold. He impressed upon the officers to take forward this social cause of serving the people of the state in times of distress.
"The ultimate objective of the J&K Bank – Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company tie-up is to serve the customers of the bank with the highly customized products that suit their requirements and provides hassle free claim servicing", Khan emphasized. Deliberate discussion was held on premium rates and it was observed that premium rates offered by Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company are most competitive as on date. Notably, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company paid Rs.23crs of claims last year to J&K Bank customers and in the first quarter of the current financial year Rs.5 crs of claims have already been settled.
Aijaz Ahmed, Regional Head, BAGICL besides assuring the Bank officers of complete cooperation from their side revealed, "A new Co branded Health insurance product is on the anvil and will soon be launched". "Small Motor claims will be settled on the spot through BADIC (Bajaj Allianz Drive In centre)", Aijaz added. Besides, Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company is organizing a free service camp for those who have availed car finance from J&K Bank and are insured with the company.
