Committed to customer convenience, Residency Road, Srinagar Business Unit of J&K Bank organized an awareness programme at Government College of Education, Moulana Azad Road. With the aim of reaching out to the people at their workplaces rather than asking them to come to the Bank's branches, the camp invited an overwhelming response. Present in hundreds, the teachers and non-teaching faculty, were made aware about the various products and services of the Bank.
Appreciating the Bank's pro-active and people friendly gesture, the participants, suggested continual of such initiatives. Later, in the question answer session, scores of queries about various deposit and advance schemes of the Bank were made. The queries were responded to the entire satisfaction of the participants.
Muneer Ahmad Khan, Head of the Bank's Residency Road business unit presided over the function while Dr. Parveen Pandit, Principal, Government College of Education was the Guest of Honour.
Special sessions regarding insurance products provided by MetLife India and Bajaj Allianz, with whom Bank has a tie-up for life and non-life insurance segments respectively, were also held. Handbills and leaflets conveying detailed information of the products and services of the J&K Bank were also distributed on the occasion.
