J&K Bank accords warm send off to President
After putting in more than 38 years of service in the J&K Bank, President Madan Gupta was accorded a warm send off on attaining the age of superanuation today.
Speaking at the function, organized to honour Gupta's services, Mushtaq Ahmad, Chairman & CEO, J&K Bank hailed his contribution towards the Bank at operational as well as strategic levels.
"Mr Gupta, like all his contemporaries, will always be remembered for his valuable services to the Bank. He played his role well in the success story of this institution", Mushtaq Ahmad said.
Tafazal Hussain, Bank's Executive President described Gupta as "a business leader with wonderful managerial skills".
In his farewell address, Gupta expressed gratitude to the J&K Bank family for having honoured him on his superanuation. "It was always a great experience to work for this prestigious institution. I thank you all for your guidance, support and cooperation. I will miss the warmth that your kind association always bestowed upon me", he said.
Others present on the occasion included Bank's Executive President G M Sahibzada, Presidents, Vice Presidents and other officers of the bank.
