Azadgunj gets JK Bank ATM ‘North Kashmir to get 6 more'
J&K Bank dedicated an ATM to public at Azadgunj in Baramulla today. Amid an impressive gathering, the ATM, 258th on the Bank's network, was inaugurated by Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, President of the Bank.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Sharma attributed the Bank's strength and success to the wholehearted trust of people. Sharing Bank's performance with the audience, he said that Bank had, during the last financial year, registered business of over 55000 crore while the profitability had reached an all time high of Rs.410 crores. "Bank is committed to percolate the benefits of this outstanding performance to you to uphold your trust. It is always our endeavour to provide our customers best technology driven services and widening our ATM network is a step in that direction", Mr Sharma stated.
Mr. Ab. Hamid Banday, Bank's Vice President for Kashmir (North) in his address stated that efforts are afoot to bring in technology revolution in the functioning of the Bank in the area. "Within a month's time Bank is dedicating six more ATMs to the public of North Kashmir.
Meanwhile, the Bank has already put all the branches of town on Core Banking solution laced with the high tech services like RTGS/ NEFT and e- banking. Notably, meetings with the customers and different representative bodies of business community of the area for their views and valuable suggestions have now become a regular feature in the bank.
The function culminated with the vote of thanks presented by Mr. G.R. Hajam, Cluster Head.
