Appeal to General Public
In view of the current situation due to Covid-19 pandemic, and complying with the instructions issued by the government authorities, general public is hereby requested to avoid rushing to the bank branches. Beneficiaries of State and Central government schemes are specially requested not to panic and stay assured that their money is safe in their bank accounts. People should avoid thronging to the bank branches as their lives are more valuable than money. Only in case of dire need, should they visit business units. People are also advised to use digital modes of payment like mobile banking and internet banking. This message is issued in the interest of general public by the Jammu & Kashmir Bank.
