Anantnag gets 14th JK Bank ATM
J&K Bank inaugurated 14th ATM in district Anantnag today, thereby, taking the countrywide network of ATMs to 282. The ATM was inaugurated by Sheikh Mushtaq Ahmad, District Development Commissioner Anantnag here in the DC Office complex today.
Among others, the inaugural function was attended by Mr B A Lone, Bank's Zonal Head for South Kashmir, Mr. Gh Mohiudin, Bank's Cluster Head, various officials of the government departments and representatives of traders and contractors besides leading businessmen of the town
Thanking the officials of the Bank for installation of the ATM, Sheikh Mushtaq emphasized the need for getting more ATMs installed at various places in the district for convenience of general public.
Throwing light on the history of the Bank, Sheikh Mushtaq enlightened the gathering about the Bank's role in economic development of the state. He also acknowledged the role of the Bank in the financial affairs of the state.
Speaking on the occasion, B A Lone informed the gathering about the Bank's plans to install more ATMs in the district. He also gave a brief introduction about various efforts of the bank in extending assistance to the public in general in the state.
Earlier while welcoming the participants, Imtiyaz Hussaini, branch head T.P Anantnag briefed the gathering about the facilities being provided by the Bank for the convenience of the customers.
Later, Ashiq Hussain Bhat spoke on behalf of the Traders Federation and thanked the management of the Bank for extending facilities to the public in general and business and traders in particular.
