J&K Bank conducts DLRC Meeting in Bandipora

To review the performance of banks and line departments under various schemes, J&K Bank conducted the District Level Review cum Consultative Committee (DLRCC) meeting of District Bandipora under Annual Credit Plan for December quarter of FY 2021-22.

District Development Commissioner (DDC) Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad (IAS) chaired the meeting attended by Lead District Manager (LDM) Bandipora Ab Rashid Malik, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, AGM RBI Rucher Sonker, DDM NBBARD Dr Asif, DDC Chairman Abdul Gani Bhat and district coordinators of all the banks, government departments and other development agencies.

Speaking on the occasion, LDM Bandipora informed the house that all banks operating in the District have extended credit aggregating to an amount of Rs 443.46 Cr, which is 50% of the annual target of Rs 887.13 Cr, out of which Rs 264.34 Cr have been disbursed under Priority Sector and Rs 179.12 Cr under Non- Priority sector thereby registering an achievement of 34% in Priority sector, 154% in Non-Priority sector respectively up to 31st December, 2021. J&K Bank alone has disbursed Rs.196.28 Cr under priority sector and Rs 166.45 Cr under Non priority sector aggregating to an amount of RS 362.73 Cr which is 82% of yearly target of Rs 444.23 Cr, he said.

Besides reviewing the performance of Banks and line departments under various Schemes, Chairman DLRCC directed the participants to speed up the disposal of Government sponsored cases. He also urged line departments and Banks to work in close coordination for the economic development of the district.​
